Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. christened the O.F.C. Distillery in 1870 and this legendary whiskey brand has been revered ever since. The most state-of-the-art distillery of its era featured copper fermentation vats, column stills, and a first-of-its-kind steam heating system, still used in our aging warehouses today. This very rare and collectable bourbon honors the O.F.C. Distillery, a National Historic Landmark known today as Buffalo Trace Distillery. Each hand-cut crystal bottle is vintage dated according to the specific year in which the bourbon was distilled. Enjoy this whiskey of a bygone era, sourced from barrels of yesteryear. For this year's Barrel of Blues raffle, we have been graciously gifted a 1994 bottle that values at $30k.

Montgomery based artist, Emily Ernest, has been creating for many years. As a graduate in Graphic Design from Auburn University, she incorporates her design skills into her unique paintings. Utilizing a realistic technique, as well as her own personal abstract painting style, she has set herself apart from other painters. Her evolution into combining different techniques has allowed her to explore the full range of her talents, as she has always enjoyed both expressionistic and realistic styles. By combining the two, Emily has found a voice through painting that allows her to express herself and showcase the things that bring joy to her life. Her painting entitled "Single Barrel Melody", especially created for Child Protect's Barrel of Blues is valued at $3,000.

This "Mystery Box" of Clyde May's Collection includes a bottle of limited edition Single Barrel Straight Bourbon, as well as four other Clyde May's core products. Clyde May experimented over the years to maintain his well earned reputation. Early on he discovered his proprietary award winning Alabama Style recipe. Later in his life he perfected it by using different proportions of grains in his mash. Aspiring to the same spirit, this limited edition Single Barrel Straight Bourbon has a distinctive, bolder mash bill than our premium, smooth straight bourbon whiskey. Each barrel is bottled one at a time and hand selected.
